The Illinois Film Office has confirmed that Divergent, based on the novel by Veronica Roth, will be filmed in Chicago, Chicago Tribute reported.  Divergent is said to be the first movie project in Chicago for 2013.  The Chicago Tribune also reported that the film will be shot entirely in Chicago which will include the Cinespace.
